Our 15th Annual Scarecrow Festival is fast approaching. Gather a few canned goods for Good Cheer and make plans for fun filled crafty day. Returning this year, 4-H will hold their Rally Day concurrently so learn about their programs while participating in some fun games and activities.

Lots of Stocking Stuffers and other great gift ideas throughout. There will also be a bake sale and raffles going on the entire time. All Association Proceeds go toward our Scholarship Fund.

Another Fair has come and gone! We hope our community enjoyed it as much as we did! It takes a lot to put this event together and we would like to thank everyone who helped make this year's fair happen. Island county 4-H and the WSU extension help fill the barns with animals and smiling children. The Master Gardeners, and the South Whidbey Grange put on an amazing Agricultural display and provide so much for kids to do projects as well. A big shout out goes to all of our department Superintendents! Without their time and efforts, you would not have all of these barns full of arts and crafts, flowers, baked goods, photography, quilting, sewing, preserving and more! We can't forget all of the great volunteers who oversee booths and barns at the fair, sell you your tickets and work behind the scenes to make sure you have a great time. Thanks to the community for coming out and supporting all of the vendors and entertainers who came to make sure you have a good time. And you can't forget the Bunyan Buster log show! They are masters of their craft and incredible entertainers! And on a personal note, I as the new Fair Manager would like to thank my Fair Board for all of their support. The outgoing Manager Carol Coble for passing along her knowledge to me. And everyone who participated in the fair that helped me, had patience with me and made my first fair AMAZING. See you next year.
